It is hard to believe it is almost August.
What great summer weather we are having. The men's twilight league is going well
and is half over. The President's Cup competition has started. A reminder that
every Saturday morning you can tee off in the skins game between 7 AM 10 AM.
Everyone is wecome to participate.
The Club Championship sign up deadline is August 4th. It is a 36 hole event with
18 holes being played Saturday morning on August 6th and 18 holes on Sunday
August 7th. Tees times will start on both days at 8:00 AM. Tees times on
Saturday will be assigned by draw and tee times on Sunday will be assigned by
standing. The Club Championship is a members only event. The cost is $10.00.
There are four categories; Ladies, Seniors (62 and over), Men's A Flight
(handicaps 0-15), and Men's B Flight (handicaps 16-30).
A reminder to save the date for the Member/Guest Tournament to be played on
Saturday afternoon August 20th. The sign up deadline for this event is August
18th. The only cost to members is the cart fee if you ride. The cost for guests
is $50.00. The event will begin with a cookout followed by a shotgun start for
an 18 hole 2 person scramble and will end with dessert and prizes.
